FISH CEVICHE

Ingredients:
3 | green plantain |
---|---|
1 cup | lime juice |
1 tsp | lime zest |
300g | of white fish or grouper fish any kind |
2 | shallot or 1 small red onion |
1 | Cilantro (as garnish) |
2 | garlic cloves |
1 | hot chili or any hot sauce |
1/4 tsp | of coconut milk |
1 1/2 tsp | soy sauce |
2 tsp | brown sugar |
1 | small cucumber |
Pinch | salt and pepper |
For Frying | You You Tea Seed Oil |
Instructions:
- Cut the fresh fish into small cubes
- In a bowl, mix together the shallots, soy sauce, hot pepper, garlic, brown sugar, lime juice, lime zest together with a fork
- Add the coconut milk into the mixture and mix well
- Add in your cube-sized fish into the mixture, and add some hot sauce, salt and pepper to season
- Set aside in the fridge for marination (no more than 3 hours)
- Cut plantain into chunks, fry them with You You Tea Seed Oil, then squeeze them into a bowl shape
- Scoop the fish into the bowl, and add cucumber and fresh cilantro as garnish
- Serve immediately
