3green plantain
1 cuplime juice
1 tsplime zest
300gof white fish or grouper fish any kind
2shallot or 1 small red onion
1Cilantro (as garnish)
garlic cloves
hot chili or any hot sauce
1/4 tspof coconut milk
1 1/2 tspsoy sauce
2 tspbrown sugar
small cucumber
Pinchsalt and pepper
For FryingYou You Tea Seed Oil


  •  Cut the fresh fish into small cubes
  • In a bowl, mix together the shallots, soy sauce, hot pepper, garlic, brown sugar, lime juice, lime zest together with a fork
  • Add the coconut milk into the mixture and mix well
  • Add in your cube-sized fish into the mixture, and add some hot sauce, salt and pepper to season
  • Set aside in the fridge for marination (no more than 3 hours)
  • Cut plantain into chunks, fry them with You You Tea Seed Oil, then squeeze them into a bowl shape
  • Scoop the fish into the bowl, and add cucumber and fresh cilantro as garnish 
  • Serve immediately
