Fried Prawns with Chilli Sauce

Ingredients

4 tsp | Ketchup |
4 tbsp | Yóu Yóu Tea Seed Oil |
3 tbsp | Femented Rice |
3 tbsp | Chilli Bean Sauce |
2 tsp | Sugar |
1 tsp | Minced Garlic |
1 tsp | Minced Ginger |
1 tsp. | Black Vinegar |
1 tsp | Sesame Oil |
Optional | Spring Onion |
Instructions
- De-shell prawns and rinse in cold water
- Turn up the heat, preheat Yóu Yóu cooking oil in the wok
- Pan-fry prawns
- Separate the prawns and set them aside
- Stir fry minced garlic, celery, and fermented rice in pre-heated wok
- Add chili bean sauce and ketchup
- Continue stir-frying for 2 minutes, then add sugar
- Continue stir-frying for 30 seconds
- Add in the pan-fried prawns
- Mix well
- Generously add green onion, black vinegar, and sesame oil
- Ready to serve
Notes
- For extra spice, add in some diced chills with the garlic and ginger.
