Fried Prawns with Chilli Sauce

Yóu Yóu Tea Seed Oil
3 tbsp
Femented Rice
3 tbsp
Chilli Bean Sauce
2 tsp 
1 tsp 
Minced Garlic
1 tsp 
Minced Ginger 
1 tsp.Black Vinegar
1 tsp 
Sesame Oil 
Spring Onion 


  • De-shell prawns and rinse in cold water
  • Turn up the heat, preheat Yóu Yóu cooking oil in the wok
  • Pan-fry prawns 
  • Separate the prawns and set them aside
  • Stir fry minced garlic, celery, and fermented rice in pre-heated wok
  • Add chili bean sauce and ketchup
  • Continue stir-frying for 2 minutes, then add sugar
  • Continue stir-frying for 30 seconds
  • Add in the pan-fried prawns
  • Mix well
  • Generously add green onion, black vinegar, and sesame oil
  •    Ready to serve 


  • For extra spice, add in some diced chills with the garlic and ginger.
