Fried Rice with Shredded Chicken

A classic fried rice for busier days. Quick to make, but still delicious and filling.

Ingredients

6 oz
Diced Chicken 
3 oz
String Beans 
2 tsp
Yóu Yóu Tea Seed Oil
2 bowls
Cooked rice
1 tsp
Pickled mustard tuber
1 tsp
Minced Ginger
1 tsp 
Minced Garlic 
1 tsp 
Soy Sauce 
1 tsp.Dried shrimp 
1 tsp 
Spring Onion

Instructions

  • Pre-heat the wok with Yóu Yóu Tea Seed Oil
  • Add in diced chicken
  • Stir fry until the diced chicken changes color
  • Separate the chicken and set aside
  • Pre-heat the wok again with cooking oil
  • Pan-fry the string beans
  • Separate string beans and set aside
  • Pre-heat the wok again with Yóu Yóu Tea Seed Oil
  • Add whisked egg, then stir fry for 30 seconds
  • Add in two bowls of cooked rice
  • Stir fry for 2 minutes until the egg and rice mix is barely runny
  • Add in pickled mustard tuber, dried shrimp, minced ginger, fair amount of diced garlic, salt, and soy sauce, then stir fry for 30 seconds
  • Add in stir-fried chicken and string beans, then stir fry for 30 more seconds
  • Generously add green onion bits
  • Ready to serve 

Notes

  • Use day old rice to absorb more of the flavor of the dish
